Every year, I see people accept their SARS Auto Assessments without reviewing them—simply because they assume SARS has everything it needs.The reality is that SARS can only calculate your tax using the information it has received. If something is missing or incorrect, your assessment may not reflect your true tax position.I created this checklist to help you quickly review the most important areas before accepting your Auto Assessment. It won't replace professional tax advice, but it can help you spot issues that may need a closer look.My hope is that it gives you the confidence to either accept your assessment knowing you've done the necessary checks, or recognise when it's time to ask for professional guidance.
